Fairfield High's Reagle shines

Fairfield High's Kevin Reagle is a senior diver, but his recent anxiety had nothing to do with graduation or diving. After winning the Solano County Athletic Conference boys diving championship with an All-American qualifying score he was afraid it wasn't on tape. ... "There was only one person videotaping," said Reagle. "At first we didn't think anybody had it on tape. I was freaking out and upset no one videotaped it, but we got the tape."

Jerry Jennings honored as a inductee to the Coaching Legend

Jerry Jennings will be honored as a new inductee to the Coaching Legend ranks for diving. During his 16 years as head diving and swimming coach at UMD, he produced eight All-America Athletes and 13 NCAA National Championship qualifiers. Jennings earned New England Intercollegiate Diving Coach of the Year honors on three separate occasions and earned the NCAA National Collegiate Diving Coach of the Year Award in 1992.

Diving Duo off to Melbourne : Otago's Blair Hamelink and Becky Marquet will leave Dunedin today to compete in the Victorian state championships in Melbourne at the weekend. Hamelink (15) recently competed in the Australian age group championships in Sydney, where he won two gold medals and a silver in the 14 and 15 years section.
